We are in the process of a lawsuit.

---Phone calls were rarely returned after we paid the deposit for the liner.

The liner had reached its expectancy in 2015. The former homeowners notified us that Pamlico originally installed the pool. So we contracted them for the replacement liner.

---The office staff seemed disorganized when discussing options for pool liners.

From the beginning there were just slight hints that this company might not be a good choice, but the reviews online lead us to believe that they were reputable.

Just prior to the warranty expiration, Jodie (a manager) came to view the workmanship of the liner install. He tried to say that it was our fault! That we had a drainage problem! Though he would add us to the Service Call list as a courtesy.

Pamlico Pool Company had completed the original pool install approximately 10 years ago; we were not the original homeowners. We purchased the home (with pool) years later.

We are very dissatisfied with the level of customer service, professionalism from all members of the staff, and the quality of the workmanship.

Never happened. Still no resolution.

We contacted the office and left numerous messages as well as sent text messages to Jeff. He did return the call and came to see the poor workmanship. He said it was no problem, an easy fix, but they would have to empty half the pool. He said, "Let's wait until swim season is over and you get ready to close the pool. We'll come out and fit it then."

Pamlico did a great job at our home and gave us the pool we always dreamed of. They were great to work with and will recommend them to anyone looking for a pool.

---Never! Never received an install date. Workers arrived at our home unannounced while we were at work. My neighbors notified us that work was taking place at our home. I couldn't leave work to witness the install.

STAY AWAY!!! CROOKS!!! We dealt with Jodie (owner), Curtis(owner), and Jeff (manager). The process was a complete nightmare. After signing the contract, the company began digging immeditately. They hit some ground water and intalled a pump that leaked a pond in my back yard. For 3 weeks, this pond grew and festered with mosquitos. Once week 5 hit (the estimate was 3 weeks), they finally begin to complete the job...after numerous calls from myself and my wife. They have ruined my yard, breached the contract numerous times, failed to followup at all, had awful attitudes throughout the process once we were signed up, and even left the job without completing it!!! After consulting with a couple of other pool businesses near where we live, we learned that this is standard practice at Pamlico...Oh yea, they also gave my fill dirt to one of their employees!!! Deal with them, and you're asking to get screwed. People like this deserve to be out of business!!!!

Pamlico did a fantastic job, and everybody that sees our pool, says it is very beautiful !! And everyone bends over backwards to help and please us. Thank you Pamlico for making our pool dream come true !!!

---Receiving the pool liner sample books took several weeks and then once we made a decision, the books remained on our porch for weeks until someone finally picked them up.

I used Pamlico due to high reviews. However, our experience has been very disappointing. From the beginning, our liner did not fit, and continually came apart at the first step. After calling and calling with NO response in the way of a service call, an associate of theirs sent some liner lock material. It helped for a while, but the liner continues to come loose and allows water to get behind the liner. On closer inspection of the liner track, cement from the construction was caked in the liner track not allowing the liner to properly fit. Now that the pool is out of warranty, the problem is ours. They are slow, if ever, to respond to a service call. Save yourself the headache and go with someone else.

After they removed the equipment and we paid for the work, did we notice that the steps had large wrinkles and the liner appeared to not fit properly around the steps. There were no braces at each steps as were previously.

--- By the time we arrived home, the pool was 3/4 filled and a shop vac was taped to the side of the pool at the steps.
