Small theaters, only 6 screens. Call ahead to confirm that the showtimes online are correct. Prices have risen since AMC bought Carmike. Be prepared to spend a little more on popcorn.
This theater is getting better but still has a little ways to go. We almost always have some issues here but less than in previous years. Pros: the staff is always nice and accommodating. Tuesday ticket prices are great. Love the new Coke machines and AMC rewards program. Cons: sticky floors almost every time I visit, broken arms on the seats and sometimes the movie choices are slim. Would be nice if tickets were sold at the box office windows so you don't have to wait in the concession line (which on busy nights has taken 20+ minutes to get through).
Went to the movies with my popcorn tub and was charge 18 dollars every time. Had to explain that it was a refill not new. Won't buy one next year. Show time for 3d movie changes from Amc website for actual Showtime. This theater is too expensive but when I am willing to pay for 3D, have more than 1 Showtime and have the Showtime time correct on the website. 3d movies in 2d are not as good. Would really hate to go to macon with it's high crime rate just got more enjoyment of a movie.
Way too expensive for what you get. I could pay $10 for a movie ticket at Tinseltown back home and I'd be in a leather recliner. Everything is overpriced here and they just hire kids who don't care to work here.
This movie theater is terrible. Thought when it became an Amc it would really improve but it's exactly the same :( super super slow service takes 20 mins to get tickets every single time. Rude emloyees super freezing everytime and movie never starts on time :( please improve and help our poor lil one and only movie theater here in milledgeville
